Sensex nosedives below 8K
The benchmark index slipped below the 8,000 levels on frenzied selling in index pivotals, dragged down by a slump in Asian markets. Shares from metal, banking and IT were hammered brutally. The Sensex is down over 62 per cent from its January highs. Wipro shedding 17 per cent is the biggest loser among the Sensex stocks.
