Sensex slips amid PM's resignation rumours
Markets saw a huge sell off in the last two hours of trade on Friday following rumours that PM Manmohan Singh may resign post the decision not to go ahead with disinvestment. The rumour was later denied. And that's one reason, market men say, why the Sensex, which was slightly red till mid-afternoon turned deep crimson by the time the markets shut.
