Serum Institute Offers Free Vaccine Doses to Centre, Other Top Stories

The Serum Institute of India has offered two crore doses of Covishield vaccine to the central government free of cost amid a rise in COVID-19 cases in some countries, official sources said on Wednesday. Uzbekistan has claimed that at least 18 children in the country have died after allegedly taking an India-manufactured cough syrup. Eight people -- one of them a woman -- died in a near-stampede in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh, during a roadshow by the state's former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
