Seven Wonders of India: Chitrakot falls in Chhattisgarh (Aired: December 2008)
About 40 kms from Jagdalpur, the Indravati river plunges a 100 feet to form the famous Chitrakot waterfall in Bastar. The gushing column of water from the horseshoe shaped mouth of the falls is even more spectacular during the monsoon. The government has plans to develop this area further to make it a sought-after tourist destination.
