Severe Heat Wave Conditions Persist Over Parts Of UP, Punjab, Delhi

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert in Delhi and its bordering states as the heatwave conditions continue to prevail in the region. The weather agency had warned that severe heatwave conditions will continue in Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh till June 19. Some relief is expected on Wednesday when dust storms and rain is likely. Monsoon is expected to hit Delhi by the June 30.
