Sharabani Basu's Victoria and Abdul
Writer William Dalrymple talks about his favourite reading list and Journalist Sharabani Basu on her book that investigates the close relationship that developed between Queen Victoria and her Indian man-servant Abdul and how he became her closest confidante. "Abdul became the Queen's favourite because he could tell her about the real India and bring her stories from the streets," says Sharabani.
