Pakistan plunged deeper into a political chaos on March 15 as Nawaz Sharif defied house arrest and embarked on the long march to Islamabad. The Army was put on standby and Rangers roamed the streets and Pakistan tottered on the brink as tens of thousands of supporters joined Nawaz Sharif's convoy.
