Canada has always been a hot destination of Punjabis for over a century. The people of Punjab have contributed in building Canada as one of the most developed countries. Punjabis are contributing in the field of politics in Canada. Singh is not just the king but the kingmaker as well, at least in Canada. The country has more than six lakh Punjabis. Nine have been elected to the Canadian House of Commons, by far the largest number of Indians elected to the Canadian legislature.
