Shiv Shankar Menon named Foreign Secretary
Shiv Shankar Menon, who is presently India's High Commissioner to Pakistan, will be the next Foreign Secretary of India. He takes over from Shyam Saran, who will now be a special envoy on the Indo-US nuclear deal, on October 1.
