Prison scenes in Tamil films and TV serials need not be shot with special sets anymore. The Tamil Nadu government has thrown open the 170-year-old Chennai Central Prison for film shooting.All inmates at the 14-acre property have been shifted to the new Puzhal Prison complex on the outskirts of the city.
