Should Britain Make Diwali a Public Holiday?

Even as the UK government has taken a decision not to allow a public holiday on Diwali, we spoke to members of the Indian community on the issue. Many felt that Diwali should be declared a public holiday considering the fact that UK has a multicultural society with the Indian community having a sizable presence in the country. In this episode of Out of England, we also met a few students who rued about missing the bright Diwali lights in a very wet London.
