Should VIP corruption cases be fast tracked?

Former Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala was today sentenced to ten years in prison in a 13-year old corruption case. The slow legal proceeding in corruption cases which involve influential people begs the question whether fast- track courts are the need of the hour to deal with such cases.
