"Sikkim Almost Totally Cut Off": State Tourism Minister
"While initial rescue work is on, there has been some irreparable damage and Sikkim is almost totally cut off from everywhere else," Sikkim Tourism Minister Bedu Singh Panth told NDTV, adding that the biggest challenge is restoring road connectivity. All stranded tourists are safe, and arrangements are being made to airlift them to Gangtok, he added.
