With a sharp increase in the water level of Sikkim's Rangeet river which is overflowing , the iconic Kirateshwar temple in the state's Legship is on the verge of being washed away as incessant rain since Wednesday has flooded the entire area. The temple is adjacent to the river, barely 150 to 200 metres up from the Rangeet NHPC dam, from where the overflow and discharge was carried out late last night.
