Sikkim quake: Long road to reconstruction
Sikkim is a state connected to the rest of India, by just two roads, both of which are now non-existent in some stretches. Those working on the rebuilding have to deal with incessant rain and resultant landslides. In places they are actually trying to hold back sliding mountains, with plastic sheets. The sooner these stretches can be rebuilt, the sooner Sikkim will be on the road to recovery.
