Heart diseases in Indians are rising five to ten years earlier than others. The mean age for presentation of first heart attack is early-mid 50s. According to 1985 to 2015 estimates, cardiovascular disease-linked mortality rose by 103 per cent in men and 90 per cent in women. A survey suggests that 35 per cent of first heart attack victims are under 35. We decode the risk factors and warning signs that shouldn't be ignored.
