The government is geared to skill 500 million Indians by 2020 and despite the huge focus on skilling, vocational training has not become mainstream as yet. However, it's not just government, corporates or urban youngsters contributing to this, many small town young Indians from rural India are now also actively taking part. This year at the World Skills Competition in Brazil, India won 8 medals, in fields like bricklaying, welding and beauty. On Heads Up, we speak to the winners - most of them are from India's small towns and villages.
