The Skoda Kodiaq has finally been launched in India and is available in just one variant. The company has just about started taking bookings for the car and deliveries are expected to start from November this year. The Kodiaq is Skoda's first full size SUV in India and is based on the same MQB platform as the Volkswagen Tiguan. In fact, it also shares the same 2.0-litre diesel engine with the Tiguan but is a 7 seater car. The Kodiaq comes with a host of safety features including 9 airbags. The Kodiaq goes up against the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and even the Volkswagen Tiguan.
