Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, one of the contenders for the top post in Himachal Pradesh after the Congress victory, today said "slogans do not make anyone chief minister". He was replying to questions about his supporters and those of state Congress chief Pratibha Singh raising slogans before the MLAs' meeting. At the meeting, the MLAs authorised the party's central leadership to decide who gets the chair - as per the party's tradition. "I will work with whoever the party high command chooses. I am a disciplined soldier who has always respected the party's decisions," he told NDTV.
