Sonia, Maya on compromise mode
Congress President Sonia Gandhi met Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati at her residence on Sunday night. It was a secret meeting, apparently on the request of the UP chief minister, who has been hitting out at the Congress leadership and threatening to withdraw support to the UPA government. Also present were Sonia's children Rahul and Priyanka at what is being called a courtesy call.
