After the woman who filed the complaint against HD Revanna levelling allegations of sexual abuse and kidnapping withdrew the complaint claiming she was forced to file it, the NCW has urged probe into the matter and Karanatak Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said the NCW should act like a women's commission and not a political agency. Speaking to NDTV, the state Home Minister G Parameshwara has reiterated that the agency has been given full independence to conduct the probe and that there is no government interference.
