Prince William and Kate mark first wedding anniversary
Britain's Prince William and his wife Catherine celebrate their first wedding anniversary today, marking the milestone in private after two billion TV viewers watched them wed in 2011.
The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton has hit the headlines several times. But this time she was spotted on a cricket pitch with husband Prince William. Kate Middleton showed off her cricketing skills during the royal couple's visit to Christchurch. And while Prince William may have bowled her over in real life, no such luck here as Kate was at her sporty best at the crease. This was all a part of the royal couple's visit to the ICC Cricket World Cup countdown clock.
One short, typed message was placed on an easel outside Buckingham Palace and many royal fans could finally exhale. They then sang - "He's a jolly good fellow." The message from Kensington Palace read, "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 4:24 pm today."
Barely a month after their fairy-tale wedding, a new film depicting the budding romance of Prince William and Kate Middleton is being rushed out for television viewers.
