SpiceJet orders 30 Boeing aircraft for $2.7 billion
In what is perhaps the biggest signal that the Indian aviation industry is flying out of turbulence, private budget carrier SpiceJet has said it will order 30 Boeing 737-800 aircraft to take its fleet size to 58 planes. At current prices these orders are worth $2.7 billion.
