Assam Finance Minister Ajanta Neog on Thursday presented Rs 935.23 crore deficit budget for the 2023-24 financial year at the state Legislative assembly, which will focus on promoting micro-entrepreneurship and fresh recruitments in different departments. The Asam government has also made special budgetary allocations for its mission to prevent child marriages.
