Spurious Drugs Allegedly Found In State-Run Delhi Hospitals, Lt Government Seeks CBI Probe

Based on the Delhi vigilance department's report on spurious drugs being allegedly found at government hospitals, Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena has written to the CBI seeking an inquiry into the case. As per the report, the vigilance department initiated a probe based on samples of substandard drugs collected from prominent Delhi government hospitals, including LNJP, DDU, and IHBAS. The vigilance department concluded that the drugs were not of standard quality.
