Sri Lanka has deployed thousands of troops and police personnel to enforce a curfew after five people were killed in the worst violence in weeks of protests over an unprecedented economic crisis. NDTV's Parmeshwar Bawa speaks to a resident in Colombo who says that in the island nation where power cuts are a daily occurrence, cooking gas is not available and long queues remain in place for fuel.
