Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will be in India from December 15 to 17, 2024, marking his first state visit abroad since taking office in September. Following his party's victory in the November general elections, Dissanayake will meet with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The visit aims to strengthen diplomatic ties between India and Sri Lanka.
