Srinagar airfield on 'sale', probe ordered
Months after NDTV reported how land at the high-security Srinagar airfield had allegedly been on sale for the last four years, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has finally ordered an inquiry into the incident. More than 100 acres of the 2.300-acre airfield has been sold to private players courtesy a collusion of the land sharks with officials of the Defence Estates and Revenue department.
