Srinagar families search for missing kin
Protests in the Kashmir valley against fake encounters turned violent as the police used lathicharge and detained several protesters in Srinagar. The protests took place against the backdrop of a complete shutdown in the valley due to a bandh call by the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF).
