Stadium Is For Athletes, Not Dog Walking Babus
An Indian Express report showing how a prominent stadium in Delhi was being shut down early for sports activities so that an IAS officer could walk his dog triggered huge outrage, leading to the Delhi government directing that all state-run sports facilities should remain open till 10 pm. Athletes allege that they were forced to train earlier in the heat. The IAS officer denied these allegations, claiming that he never asked athletes to leave the stadium.
