Star Comedian Vs Mumbai Municipality: No Laughing Matter
People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones at others, that's perhaps what comedian Kapil Sharma is thinking now. Earlier today, he said he has paid 15 crores as income tax despite which he still had to pay the Mumbai municipality a Rs 5 lakh bribe to get some work done. But after his tweets went viral, some documents also emerged of unauthorised construction in his own house, including a stop work notice by the same Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or BMC. Will the comedian have the last laugh or was this in fact one laugh too many.
