Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping have bonded over a tour of the temples of Mamallapuram in Tamil Nadu, followed by cultural programmes and dinner that went well beyond the scheduled time. After delegation-level talks on Saturday morning, India and China agreed to build a mechanism to discuss trade, investment and services. The two leaders also shared concerns over terrorism and recognised the importance of continuing to make joint efforts to ensure that the international community strengthens the framework against training, financing and supporting terrorist groups throughout the world and on a non-discriminatory basis
