Starving to death in their old age
Across the country, there really is no shortage of government schemes to help the poor and to prevent one of the most humiliating ways of dying - starvation. But sadly, the appalling state of implementation of many schemes means that in parts of Orissa, old men continue to die of starvation; their families too poor to feed them.
