NDTV's Ravish Kumar, who won the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award 2019, said that the media today is increasingly delegitimising the space of citizen journalism because it is not interested or invested in journalism. "Today if a Kashmiri girl decided to write a blog on the lines of Baghdad burning, our mainstream media would label her as anti-national.
