Surajit Misra, EVP & National Head - Mutual Funds, Bajaj Capital told NDTV Profit that the demand for gold in India has always been high due to various reasons and since gold as an asset class is considered as inflation hedge, it is important to make it one of the prominent components in the portfolio. He suggests investors to stay invested in Kotak Gold ETF, which has given annualized returns of 25.26 per cent in last 3 years and 29.90 per cent in the last one year.
