Steel export ban to put pressure on margins
The suspense over steel is over with the government finally slapping an export duty on steel products to beef up domestic supplies. While the government’s move is a clear negative for steel exporters but that hasn’t quite hammered down steel stocks because the steel prices may still not come down.
