Stephen's honours Ashok Kamte
Ashok Kamte, the additional commissioner of the Mumbai Police who was killed fighting terrorists during the Mumbai terror attacks, was honoured at St Stephen's College in New Delhi. Kamte studied a Master's degree in History in this college from 1985-87. So, for the alumni gathered here today, he is more than that. For some he is a senior, for some, a student and for others, a close friend.
