Sterlite to revise offer for Asarco
Anil Agarwal, Vedanta's Executive Chairman who also controls Sterlite, a copper producer, is back. NDTV learns that he is working on making a revised offer for Asarco, for which he had earlier made an all-cash offer. With copper prices having fallen nearly 60 per cent from their peak, the downside to prices and valuations, may be limited from here. Certainly, the falling copper prices are now helping Agarwal to make a renewed bid for Asarco.
