The Democratic National Convention is kicking off just four weeks after President Joe Biden shuttered his campaign and made way Vice President Kamala Harris to ascend to the top of Democrats' ticket. Golden State Warriors and Team USA coach Steve Kerr received arguably the second loudest applause of the night Monday, after Harris', when he appeared on the convention stage.Kerr returned to the United Center where nearly 30 years ago he made the winning shot to clinch the Chicago Bulls another championship."As you know, a lot of good stuff has happened in this building, especially in the 90s," Kerr told convention goers.Harris is from Oakland, California, where the Warriors played for decades until moving their arena to San Francisco."I believe that leaders must display dignity. I believe that leaders must be able to tell the truth," said Kerr.
