All eyes are on Karnataka to see if the Congress-JDS coalition can survive a trust vote in the state. In a potential setback to the coalition, the Supreme Court on Wednesday said that it was up to the rebel MLAs to decide if they wanted to attend Assembly or not - despite a whip being issued by their parties. Congress trouble shooter, DK Shivakumar, questions what this would mean for whips - even as he continues to say that the coalition will survive the trust vote.
