Comparisons between India and China are nothing new and now it seems that after China announced its $586 billion economic stimulus package, India could be heading in the same direction. The Planning Commission is ready to give its nod to an increase in allocation of over Rs 20,000 crore - a proposal which has been pending for a while now.
