It began like any other day for the doctors and nurses at the Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati, Assam's main COVID-19 hospital that has a 100 per cent recovery rate of coronavirus patients. The day turned remarkable as the doctors surprised the nurses, busy with COVID-19 duty, with gifts and mementos celebrating International Nurses Day. Cakes were cut, cookies and toffees were distributed pumping the morale of the front line nurses who said that the fight against novel coronavirus is "challenging" but the stigma that nurses are fighting across the country from a section of the society is
"dangerous".
