Hundreds of tourists were stranded as a key highway connecting Kullu and Mandi in Himachal was blocked due to heavy rain and flash floods. Speaking to NDTV, Himachal Pradesh's Principal Secretary Omkar Sharma said that all efforts are being made to clear the long traffic jams, adding that the state's civic infrastructure is ready for the monsoon.
