Highlighting the importance o migrant workers who have been working as vendors in cities, Arbind Singh, National Co-ordinator, National Association of Street Vendors of India said that while around 40 per cent have gone back, 60 per cent are still in cities ad it is now up to the people and authorities in the cities to win their trust and treat them well. He said that cities should have vending zones where vendors can sell their thing with hygiene while maintaining social distancing.
