Strong growth in domestic formulations business: ALEMBIC
Vadodara-based pharma company Alembic Pharma has been in the headlines because of its healthy earnings in the March quarter and a recent nod from US drug regulators for Pfizer's popular drug Pristiq, which went off-patent recently. Pranav Amin, executive director of Alembic Pharma, says the growth has been led by domestic formulations and the generics business. Mr Amin also expects the firm's domestic formulation business to grow at 14-15% in FY14.
