Thousands of students preparing for their board exams in Maharashtra are having a tough time thanks to daily power cuts that last as long as seven hours. The government, facing a huge shortfall of 5,500 MW everyday, says it can't do much to bail them out. In Kalyan, 12th standard student Mahesh Malusare is crippled by daily seven-hour power cuts.
