Students given electric shocks
A school punishment that really went too far. A physics teacher in Maharashtra, gave electric shocks to 22 of his students, apparently because they were not paying attention. The teacher has been suspended. The teacher, Sukant Mishra, had called the students to the physics laboratory for practicals. The shocks, though not very strong, created panic among the students who complained to their parents.
