The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has conducted countrywide raids at toy outlets at Airports and Malls and found substandard toys made in China. The raids will continue this month to check the substandard toys. BIS Director General Pramod Kumar Tiwari said, "Countrywide raids have been conducted at toy outlets at Airports and Malls and found substandard toys made in China. The raids will continue this month to check the substandard toys. We have not given a license to any Chinese company to make toys in India. People should inform BIS if they found Made in China toys in the country."
