Sugar Import Duty Hike Not to have Much Impact: Sakthi Sugar
M Manickam, executive vice-president and managing director, Sakthi Sugar says the sugar import duty hike to 25 per cent from 15 percent is not likely to have much of an impact as there is an oversupply in the market. There is ample amount of sugar for the upcoming festive season, he said.
