Sugar prices to remain firm on production shortfall, festive demand: Shree Renuka Sugars
Sugar prices in the domestic market are expected to remain firm due to production shortfall and festive season demand, says Narendra Murkumbi, MD of Shree Renuka Sugars. However, global prices of sugar are expected to remain subdued to a glut in the global markets. He adds that the industry is eagerly awaiting the Rangarajan committee report on deregulation.
